I have been leather crafting for 16 years now!  I have had so much fun I didn't realize it has been that long.  I got started when my husband's best friend got married for the 10th time (yes 10) and moved from Wisconsin to Wyoming.  He gave me all his saddle making equipment and one of ex wife's chap making supplies and a old sewing machine.  The first few years I literally had band-aids one every finger!  Over the years, I learned how to use the knifes and tools and feel that I can really call myself a leather worker.  I have to give thanks to all the instructors and mentors I have had along the way.  I am so happy to give back and love teaching the craft.
